The summer season drives the most app downloads all over the world as people begin to plan their travels for the upcoming months, wanting to make the most of the top destinations, finding the best deals and taking advantage of the free information to do so.

A Google study found that apps served as a source of travelling inspiration, with 42% of travellers checking travel review apps and 31% looking at specific destination apps to inspire their forthcoming trips. More than half of these travellers used apps to review and reserve a property!
